Program Description

Event Details

Join us each month to learn about disaster and emergency preparedness with Jefferson County’s Department of Emergency Management (DEM). Each class will focus on a different topic and provide important steps to prepare for emergencies. Miss one? Recorded presentations will be uploaded to the Emergency Preparedness Talks playlist.

Join us in December for a fun chat about giving emergency preparedness items as gifts. Share ideas for low-cost and no-cost items you can gift to your loved ones.

This talk is part of a team effort from many local groups that help our community stay safe during emergencies. Together, we’re all working to be prepared.
