Join us each month to learn about disaster and emergency preparedness with Jefferson County’s Department of Emergency Management (DEM). Each class will focus on a different topic and provide important steps to prepare for emergencies. Miss one? Recorded presentations will be uploaded to the Emergency Preparedness Talks playlist.
In November, guest speakers from Jefferson PUD and Jefferson County Public Works will discuss ways to prepare for power outages, snow, ice, and other winter hazards.
This talk is part of a team effort from many local groups that help our community stay safe during emergencies. Together, we’re all working to be prepared.
