Event Details

Inspired by Tibetan prayer flags, the wish flags you create will send your good wishes onto the winds and out into the world. Use the kit contents to create rainbow wish flags with symbols that are important to you. They will brighten your garden this summer and will slowly disintegrate, shifting their beauty and goodwill into the world, colors fading, threads blowing away, fabric becoming one with the earth.

  • Pattern tracing, fabric cutting, and sewing are skills required to complete this project.
  • 7 rainbow flags, 3 bright pattern fabric swatches, twine, needle, and embroidery thread are included in kits.

The first 48 folks to register will be able to pick up their kits the week of July 6 - 10 at the Jefferson County Library or the Bookmobile. Adults 18+ only, please.
