Important Update: The SCOTUS series at the library has been cancelled.
The class will be offered by Salish Sea Fellowship at Community United Methodist Church in Port Hadlock on Monday afternoons starting October 6th. Learn more. Registration is required. Register Now.
In this class, we’ll take a look back at some important cases from the last year of the U.S. Supreme Court and get ready for the new cases coming up this year. We’ll also talk about ethics and how they affect how people see the Court.
Here’s what our four sessions will look like:
October 8 – We’ll introduce everyone and talk about what interests us. We’ll also give an overview of what to expect in the October 2025 term and compare it to previous years.
October 15 & 22 – We will review some big cases from the October 2024 term.
October 29 – We’ll look ahead to some important cases scheduled for the October 2025 term.
We hope everyone can share any questions or concerns about the Court during our first meeting. We will try to answer them in the following sessions. We’re excited to learn together!
This program is co-sponsored by the Adult Learning Programs (ALPs) of the Salish Sea Fellowship.
