Please note: No registration is needed to enter the Candy House Creations display. However, if you would like a free building kit with supplies for two graham cracker houses, please register below.

It’s time to get creative (and a little sweet)! Build your own candy house—or any fun food-based scene—and share it with the library for our annual Homes for the Holidays display.

🍭 How it works:

  • Use any edible items to build your creation.
  • Your design must fit on a standard 8.5x11 sheet.
  • Drop off your entry at the library by Wednesday, Dec. 10 (no digital submissions, please).

🏠 Need supplies? Starting November 12, a limited number of free building kits will be available. Each kit has supplies for two graham-cracker base houses.

🎉 Celebrate with us! Join us at the District's Holiday Open House on Thursday, December 18, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Enjoy music and refreshments, and see the Candy House Creations on display. Guests can give their favorites a “sticker shout-out” and enjoy the festive fun.

 

 
Beginning November 1, you can register here for a free building kit! You do not need to register to participate in the Candy House Creations display.
