Want to learn how to start your family history? This beginner class will show you the basic steps, like keeping records organized, reading birth and marriage certificates, and using census records to trace your family. You’ll also learn tips for checking facts and saving your findings for the future. No experience or sign-up needed—just bring your curiosity!

After the beginner's class, advanced researchers can register for a one-hour session with a genealogist. Please bring your family history questions and a computer with the work you’ve already done. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early. Please register for only one session.
