Dear Library Friends and Supporters,
April 1 is Library Giving Day, a nationwide 24-hour online fundraising campaign celebrating public libraries and their vital role in communities across the country. Launched in 2019 by the Seattle Public Library system, Library Giving Day has continued to grow each year, with hundreds of library organizations across the United States, Canada, and beyond participating in support of their local libraries.
Last year, our community came together to raise $6,000 in just 24 hours for Library Giving Day. This year, we hope to match — or even exceed — that support.
Your gift can go even further thanks to a generous $5,000 matching grant from the Friends of the Jefferson County Library, doubling the impact of every donation.
In a rapidly changing world, the Jefferson County Library District remains a trusted place for everyone. Our libraries connect people with information, learning opportunities, creative exploration, and pathways to new skills and careers. Your support helps ensure that our programs, collections, and services remain accessible and welcoming to all members of our community.
Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution between now and Library Giving Day on April 1 using our online donation form and help us spread the word about this campaign. Visit jclibrary.info and follow the Library District on Facebook, Instagram, or NextDoor for #LibraryGivingDay updates.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping the library continue to serve and strengthen our community.
With deep appreciation,
Annie Scott
