Washington State Poet Laureate Tod Marshall (2016-2018) will read from WA129 -- a collection of poetry gathered from the people of Washington State. Compiled and edited by Marshall, the book features poetry by amateur poets alongside acclaimed writers including Sherman Alexie, Tom Robbins, and Tess Gallagher. The collection includes 129 poems—one for each year of statehood.

Award-winning author Julie Christine Johnson will read from her latest book, The Crows of Beara. Julie is the award-winning author of the novels In Another Life (Sourcebooks, 2016) and The Crows of Beara(Ashland Creek Press, 2017).
