Local teaching artist Thaddeus Jurczynski will present three hands-on, interactive workshops that explore and explain different aspects of light and vision. Children ages 6 through 14 are welcome. Parents welcome, too!

Construct a model of the eye, step into a camera and explore different types of lenses in the Jello Lab. Please bring two empty well-rinsed frozen juice concentrate cans.

Discover the relationship between colors of light and colors of pigment. Make a spectroscope to take home.

Depth-Defying Science
Learn how Magic Eye pictures work and watch 3D shadows pop out of the screen. Make a stereo viewer to take home.
