Service Area, Hours and Features

Wireless service is available in almost all areas inside the library and may be available in areas just outside the building. Structural features such as columns might block or reduce the signal in certain areas inside the building.
The Jefferson County Library wireless network service is available during regular library hours. Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The library is not open Sundays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
The wireless service does not support all Internet features. We do support web browsing, web based email services, chat, telnet and FTP.
Printing is not available with our wireless network service. If you need to print, save the file to a floppy or USB device and use one of our public PCs to print.
